Christmas Carol Cards

Hello and happy Black Friday!!!

I hope you all had a blessed Thanksgiving!  I had a wonderful time relaxing this year, one thing I am totally thankful for.  I got to take it easy after having surgery.  I felt a tiny bit guilty not being in the kitchen, but that didn't last.  If you know me, I never sit still. ;)

Today I wanted to share the Christmas carols I printed up for the littles.  They are constantly asking me to sing songs, so I thought this would be perfect for everyone to sing along.

I added some quick pics from the internet, so it's nothing fancy.  Next year I'll take more time to jazz them up a bit. 

• Print carols on cardstock
  
• Cut the page into quarters
• Laminate each card (optional)
• Punch a hole in the upper left corner 
• Insert a ring (or ribbon) to keep them all together 

Easy peasy!

Christmas Time Is Here!

Hello!

It's been SO long!  I am not sure how or what to say about disappearing.  Life became rapidly overwhelming for me. 

I had yet another surgery in October and I hope to begin feeling better by New Year's.  I have so many health complications that have illuded doctors until recently.  I am praying that I can avoid surgery in the coming year. 

I appreciate all the super sweet emails from you showing support and love. 

I have sadly decided to drop as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.  I hope to return in the future, but I honestly decided to spend more time with my family and less time stamping. (I still need to take down SU on my blog this week.)

I have decided to start another blog, which I have shown pieces of.  I will share the link once I launch, which is looking on track for January 1.  At that time I will begin posting projects regularly again. 

Today I was going through some files and found this from a couple years back.  Somehow I never shared the post.  I thought better late than never.  ;)

Pennant Pack Is Ready!

I finally completed my project sheets for the new pennant products.  I came up with 10 original designs for the coordinating Pennant Parade stamp set and Petite Pennant Builder punch.  I have had a blast playing around with it. 

If you show enough interest, I can design a kit, but as of now I only have a Project Sheet Pack available.

I posted my "BOO" sample project sheet.  It is one of the projects included in the pack.  The pack is a 12 page PDF including a master supplies sheet, a decorative box, 6 card designs and 4 bonus card projects.  For a total of 11 projects. 

Included in the PDF is the supply list for each project as well as cutting and assembly instructions.

Science Party Invite

I shared this a few posts ago, and I wanted to update it, but I thought I'd share the inside as well. 

Party Planning Tip:

I love the colors here, and when I get to the party pics, you'll see why.  I based the color choice on the plates I used.  I have found after a few years of party planning that if you pick your theme, especially plates first, then its easier to design everything else.

I found a cute little science guy pic that I was able to resize, cut out and then color.  It was a little work, but I only needed a handful of them.   Everything else I free handed.

  I couldn't find template, so I drew up another one.  One is in pieces so you can see the two colors.  The reason I decided to make 2 parts that only slightly overlap was because if they were not lined up perfectly, the white part would show under the color.

Fall Favors

Good Morning!

I just realized I've posted a few coordinating projects in a row.  I guess it's the weather here.  It's just now starting to cool off, which has been a beautiful season! 

This box is made from the fortune teller template (below).  I'm not sure where I first saw it a long time ago, but I finally got around to making them.  These are super easy to put together and make darling favors and treat baskets. 

I made this for a swap and put a few hershey's kisses inside.  What I like most about this project is that you can adjust the size to fit your purpose. 

I used the Scallop Square Clearz Die to cut this out, but you could use any size square really.  Then I scored it into thirds going in each direction as well as from corner to corner.  I punched holes in each corner for the ribbon.  Then I creased the folds and drew the corners to the center, ran ribbon through the holes and tied a bow.  This is so once you try it!

I designed these bags for our annual Fall Festival at church.  I just love this Blessing Mix. I found the bags at a hobby store, but SU also has cello bags in 3 sizes.  I printed the verse and they came together rather quickly.  I also added a clothespin magnet as a little bonus.

Today I thought I'd share my File Folder Organizer.

I'm going to get my calendars finished up and up for you next week.  I also want to get a few Christmas projects up for you. But first I thought I'd go back a couple years to one of my first tutorials.  When I designed this tutorial it was because there was nothing like it on the web.  Now I am finding them popping up for sale, but I have a FREE download available!

In Color Bookmarks

Hello ladies! 

Say goodbye to In Colors!  Really, they're not all leaving.  Rich Razzleberry and Soft Suede are part of the Color Renovation.

I was running low on Bible Bookmarks, and I saw someone else had made some, so I thought I'd whip up a few myself.  I love using Watercolor Trio.  

I printed this bookmark back to back, so it is quick and easy!Here is the link to the original post.  The bookmarks are 4up on a page, and in PDF format.

The finished bookmark measures 2" x 6".  I cut mine at 6 1/4" to allow room to punch across the bottom edge.  There is plenty of room to cut them how you like.

Mini Calendars for 2010

Wow!  I can't believe its almost 2010.  This year has flown by for me.  I can't wait until things slow down a bit.  It seems my surgery and other health problems have really slowed me down.  I pray 2010 goes much easier.  I miss my stamping!  Because of course it's the first thing to be brushed aside.  

I haven't gotten around to making my Coaster Calendar for 2010 yet, so here is last year's.

Name Tag Update

Happy Sunday to you all!  Wow, I can't believe June is already here!
I just wanted to throw a few more pictures out there. I love the way these turned out.  I am going to have to go buy some more of those chains.  I think these will make great gift tags for babies.  I definitely will be making more.  I love that you could slide photos or whatever info you need on hand in the sleeve.

I made these simple information cards to slip inside.  I don't need too much information available for daycare, but you could put as much or as little as you think is necessary.  Here is my name tag. 

The measurements for the tag are 3" x 4".  The information card cut size is 2 1/2" x 3 1/2".  Let me know if you have any questions!

Bible Bookmark

Hey there!  It may take me a minute to get back in the groove of things.  I have not stamped in weeks!  So, I thought I'd share a couple projects today that I've thrown together recently. 

I was trying to create a simple, masculine bookmark for my husband.  I gave him a new Bible case for his birthday and this went with it.  I do think the corner punch is a little over the top for a guy.  I was pleased with the way it turned out.  I have trouble with bookmarks being too thick for the books.  With Bible pages being thin, I decided to print on regular printer paper.  I love the SU Jumbo eyelets for this project.  They are just wonderful for anything 2 sided.   Lastly, a bit of ribbon and voila!
